Eric is born and raised in northern Saskatchewan. He comes from the north-west historic Metis community of Ile a la Crosse, SK. Eric graduated high school in Meadow Lake, SK and later went on to receive a Bachelor of Education from University of Saskatchewan.
In his career he has held positions as a CEO, Acting-Director, Manager, Coordinator, Teacher and Youth Worker. He has travelled across Canada and has had the honor to visit nearly every community in Northern Saskatchewan and various other First Nation, Metis communities and villages across the province.
Eric has worked and developed communication strategies at the corporate level. He’s created planning and partnerships for educational programming for a major education institution in northern Saskatchewan. He brings a wealth of knowledge and skill in community development.
